College of Arizona scholar, Forrest Keys, died throughout a capturing on the Cherry Avenue storage on Saturday, Feb. 20. A petition was made shortly after the capturing to put in safety cameras in the entire entrances and exits of garages on campus. The proprietor of the unique petition took it down after it had acquired over 8,000 signatures.
UA scholar Mia Sterenberg made an announcement on the petition saying, “whereas there have been good intentions with this petition, there are harsh realities that must be addressed in our nation and neighborhood. The petition has since been taken over by Lukas Pakter, a member of Zeta Beta Tau and fellow fraternity brother of Keys.
